Fedden, at the head of Gleann Cia-aig.4pm, 31/05/05~ Fedden lies on the boundary between the Glengarry estate to the north and the Locheil estate to the south, which was once defined at this point by a small burn coming down from Meall na Tagraidh. It is said that an old woman who lived here could with a little judicious digging divert the burn to one side of the cottage or the other, according to whose factor, Locheil's or Glengarry's, was due to visit to collect the rent, and thus managed to avoid paying either.

Some morning mist in Gleann Lichd.6.30am, 04/05/02~ I was making my way up the glen for a northerly approach to the Sisters when this strange mass of cloud began to pour over the col from Glen Affric, like a scene from an apocalyptic Hollywood film, The Fog perhaps.
