Head of Loch Duich, from Sgurr an Airgid.mid-day, 7/11/88~ It was a dreich day, and beginning to suffer from a gastric upset I didn't much enjoy the traverse of Sgurr an Airgid, but this single gleam of sunlight came at just the right moment on the descent.
On the south-west top of Gulvain. 6.30am, 31/05/97 A day's work, then jump in the van and drive 120 miles, a quick bite before a sweaty trot up Gleann Fionnlighe and on to Gulvain just around sunset. Too far gone to even think of continuing to the higher NE top, particularly as this SW one made such a amenable campsite.
