In the Gairloch area. 09/06/85 ~ Osgood Mackenzie, writing in A Hundred Years in the Highlands of his boyhood in the 1850s, mentions this place. "Sometimes we put up at the - - - - - - - - - - bothy, but its roof in those days was very leaky, and there was little to be gained by being under its protection." The roof has been fixed since then, I think. Traditionally the near end of the bothy has been left open, with the rest well locked, but I'm not sure of the current situation.
