An odd one, this. Back at the road after a showery day on the western Fannichs, and what looked like shafts of sunlight on Loch a'Bhraoin - from two suns. Best explanation I can offer is that the direct shaft, the one on the right (sun would have been a bit south of west) was being reflected off the loch and projected on to some mist. 6pm, 02/09/06
Glen Calvie. 10am, 22/04/99 ~ On the way to a drubbing on Carn Chuinneag. Along this glen lie the scattered remains of the cottages of the folk whose callous eviction in 1845 is recorded on the east window of the Croik church.
