Corner of Queen’s Dr and Langside Rd.

These Parisian-style tenements were built a year or two after the real Statue of Liberty was erected.

  February 1976
    Baker St., looking north.

The terrace with the boldly overhanging eaves has been attributed to Alexander Thomson. It and all this end of the street have been replaced by new housing.

June 1973
Cathcart railway bridge, early 1963, I think.

Note the trolleybus wires - the 105 and 107 were still running here and out to Muirend, both withdrawn in 1967.
