    Baker St., looking north.

The terrace with the boldly overhanging eaves has been attributed to Alexander Thomson. It and all this end of the street have been replaced by new housing.

June 1973
Cathcart railway bridge, early 1963, I think.

Note the trolleybus wires - the 105 and 107 were still running here and out to Muirend, both withdrawn in 1967.
Similar to the last, with the addition of a greasy thumbprint.

Posters across the road :-

Alhambra Theatre - A Love for Jamie (a panto with Rikki Fulton, Fay Lenore and Kenneth McKellar which did 2 seasons, 1962/3 and 1963/4).

Empire Theatre - Karmon Israeli (an Israeli music and dance troupe who played a week here in March 1963).

Toledo Cinema - The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner (Tom Courtney, Michael Redgrave, 1962).
