    St Andrew’s suspension bridge, with the colossal United Co-operative Baking Society building in McNeil St / Adelphi St.  

September 1973
    The river upstream of the King’s Bridge.  The neat tenements in Benthall St and Turnlaw St are still there, though barely recognisable after a radical facelift, and look a pleasant place to live. The six-storey building was a bonded warehouse at 546 Ballater St.
