Glasgow street atlas c1920

This Bartholomew's atlas of Glasgow and environs had been in the family house for longer than I can remember.

I can't give an exact date of publication as the cover is missing (and I don't recall seeing one) but internal evidence suggests a date of around 1920 -
the Mosspark development is planned but not built, and it came about as a direct consequence of the 1919 'homes for heroes' Housing Act..

The inner areas were scaled at around 1:12,500 and the outer at 1:25,000, but in all pages the grid lines are half a mile apart.

As you can see, each page carries 'Copyright John Bartholomew & Son Ltd', but after almost 100 years I believe this copyright will have lapsed.
