  • The Balfrin with an Oberland backdrop, from Ulrichshorn.<br><br>11am, 27/08/03<br><br>~ I had set off from near the Bordier hut early that morning with the idea of reaching the Nadelhorn, but a misdirection (since corrected) from the AC's <i>Valais East</i> and some severe glacier frustrations cost me too much time, and I got no further than Ulrichshorn, returning by way of consolation (and by way of avoiding that glacier) over Balfrin and Bigerhorn.<br><br>
